Save Calendar

Save Calendar is a series of illustrations created for a calendar on the theme of saving food. The illustrations show a farm field through the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter. Colors change with each season, so the four periods are easy to tell apart. A symmetrical composition in a Chinese style gives the images a modern look. Month and season information is placed at the top of each sheet. The drawings were made with computer software and printed at 800 by 800 millimeters. The series shows the hard work of farmers and reminds people to value food.

The marks run as two parallel sides, like train tracks that move apart and then come together again. The red check marks are combined to represent friendship and unity. The colored symbol is placed on a white background and can be applied to stationery, outdoor advertising and corporate gifts. Repeating the symbol in a line forms a pattern.
